It has been so nice to work with Amanda, finally finding some solutions to improve my long term IBS and health after many years of trying to resolve it doing various things/diets/protocols. I was impressed with her knowledge, kind compassionate manner and the flexible and approachable manner with which I could work with her. I also found the resources shared with me and the stepwise approach made the treatment journey simpler and less stressful than other previous more restrictive approaches I had taken. I am so thankful to Amanda for helping me get clarity, energy back and help treat my IBS with what felt like a healthy and accessible approach. In a few months Ive felt a big difference and reassured with the direction I am taking with my health. Huge thanks Amanda!
I contacted her for research help with a Year 12 course, and she agreed to have a chat with me which is incredibly kind of her. She answered my questions in depth, and it's evident how passionate she is about her work. Thanks again, Amanda!
I started sessions with Amanda in October 2023.
I wanted to see a dietician because I needed support and felt lost when it came to nutrition.
I've learnt so much from Amanda and I am very thankful. She has lots of resources and a website full of recipes too. So I can always refer to those anytime I need a refresher.
I have a history of ED and a lot of chronic illnesses. Amanda helped advocate for me when it came to my doctor. Getting the appropriate testing done and getting to the bottom of my issues with weightloss. Turns out I was insulin resistant. She made me feel seen and heard. So I can't thank her enough.
Amanda has built up my confidence in my food choices. I was given a wealth of information I had never recieved before. There was ongoing support the whole way through. Since starting with her my symptoms have improved and I've lost 13.2 kilos and am maintaining that trajectory.
We were able to reverse my gut issues and work through trigger foods and introduce foods back into my diet. Amanda made it a streamlined and gradual process. I never felt overwhelmed or forced to do anything I didn't want to do.
Amanda worked with me to find a diet and lifestyle that suited me.
My goal when starting was to work out what was going on in my body and lose weight in a healthy and manageable way. Because of Amanda I feel strong enough to make the right choices for me when it comes to food. It's not so scary anymore and it's brought back my love and passion for it.
Also navigating supplements and nutrients that would be beneficial to me. Amanda factored in affordability and sustainability too.
If you are feeling lost when it comes to your health and diet I highly recommend seeing Amanda. Especially if you have an ED, chronic illness or feel as though your doctors arent listening to you.
We did consults over Skype once a month which was a very easy process and she explains how to set it all up. Now our next session isn't for 6 months because I feel capable to continue my progress on my own. Its comforting to know she is there to guide me if I need it though. Food and diet can be daunting. But it doesn't have to be.
Thanks Amanda
I've found Amanda so helpful in treating my eczema. Together we've been finding & eliminating dietary triggers for this annoying chronic condition. Amanda is super knowledgable and accomodating with my needs. I've found the whole experience really beneficial and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
Prompt, efficient and reasonable price . Will certainly use Conrad in the future !
I cannot thank Amanda enough for helping me through my food sensitivities and overall health issues. Amandas knowledge goes far beyond her years! Before I met Amanda I had already tried 2 other dietitian's and had been suffering from symptoms for 3 years with nobody who seemed to understand what was going on. Countless doctors visits, tests ect. Nobody was able to help me until I met Amanda. Thank you Amanda so much for supporting and guiding me back to good health again! I cannot reccommend Amanda more highly.
Amanda is so easy to connect with, making you feel very comfortable and at ease. Her advice was amazing and her patience with me asking her multiple questions was so caring and professional and with quick responses that shows she really knows her stuff. Thanks Amanda

*Our gut health has been influenced by our Mother’s gut health*
Did you know that the health of a Mother’s microbiome has an important role on her baby’s immune development, gut and overall health?!..
What is a microbiome you ask? It’s the billions of microorganisms that live inside our intestines, which communicate with our own cells to influence health.
One of the biggest impacts on a Woman’s microbiome health is her diet…
Specifically, including enough of the prebiotic fibres our healthy gut microbes like to eat…
When a baby is born, it is exposed to its Mother’s bacteria and other microorganisms during vaginal delivery and also breastfeeding from the mother’s skin and her breastmilk.
From the moment of birth, the exposure to microbes helps the baby start to develop its own microbiome. How amazing!
The essential duties of a baby’s microbiome relate to the digestion and metabolism of breastmilk (or formula) and food later on, the development and activation of the immune system, the production of neurotransmitters that influence cognitive function and behaviour, among others.
If you’re planning a pregnancy or are pregnant, I highly recommend you address any long-term gut issues you have, and / or ensure you’re eating lots of different plant foods in your diet, especially prebiotics.
I hope this helps – Amanda x
P.S. If you’d like to speak to a Dietitian about optimising your diet for pregnancy, please reach out as I’d love to help!

*Could food additives be one of your triggers?*
There are 100s of additives going into our foods these days…
When you analyse the ingredients list of many packaged foods, they contain many that are far from natural!
From my years of experience supporting people with food intolerances, there are a bunch that are the worst for triggering a wide range of symptoms, including abdominal cramping, diarrhoea, allergy reactions, behavioural issues in children, irritability and more…
Preservatives are some of the culprits, specifically Sorbates , Benzoates , 216, 218), Sulphites , Nitrates , Propionates and artificial antioxidants , …
I suggest start checking your food packaging to see what you find.
I hope that helps – Amanda x

Mike and Kim came to me recently at their wits end. Their six-year-old son Charlie has become extremely emotional and clingy. He throws tantrums ALL THE TIME, finds it hard to relax and his teachers and medical team are querying an ADHD diagnosis. “What happened to our little Angel!?”
Kim was querying a food intolerance because she had problems with certain foods as a child plus it appears some of the irritability comes after eating certain foods. They were desperate for my help because they were both feeling so exhausted and frustrated. The demands of attending to their boy was putting a strain on their relationship too.
Only TWO weeks after our initial consultation Mike and Kim came back to see me almost speechless. They had seen a significant improvement after making the few small dietary changes I recommended. Tantrums were now less in frequency, duration and severity. “The teachers are reporting that Charlie is now sitting quietly and drawing for over an hour – something he never did before. Everyone at school is so amazed at the change. He seems so much happier!”.
This story is so similar to those of the many children (and their parents) I’ve helped over the years since working in the area of food intolerances.
If you or someone you know is struggling with their child’s behaviour, please get in touch because I could potentially help to make your/their life much easier.
