Oh what a place! Beautiful from the minute you enter the driveway and a very warm welcome from the host! Unfortunately we only had a 2 night stay but could have stayed for weeks...very peaceful surroundings, including birdsong and very shy roos. The chalet was stunning-very clean, spacious, comfortable and warm and we loved sitting out on the deck watching the birds. There was nothing you could want that the chalet didn't have, including a massive spa bath! Even though you're out in the middle of nowhere, the drive into Pemberton or Lakeside restaurant (a nice place for breakfast and walk in the forest) is not long. We would highly recommend a stay here!

My wife and I stayed here for an extended period over the Christmas Break and it was one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. Jeanette was fantastic before and during our stay even organising an early check-in for us. Due to the duration of our stay, Jeanette offered us a change of linen, new towels, more kitchen supplies and even brought us frui from a nearby fruit farm.

The chalets themselves are well appointed and have everything you need (kitchen facilities, TV, Aircon, undercover parking, dining table, plenty of closet space) for a short stay. At sunset, you'll get to see Kangaroos and can spend time walking around the property where there's a beautiful lake. Note: Whilst there is Telstra coverage, it is very weak and only works in certain spots – but is available. Bring plenty of books, games and disconnect. You can also bring a HDMI cord and connect it to the TV if you want to BYO movies or connect an iPad or similar tablet.

Chalet was AMAZING, very clean, luxurious, huge spa bath and bathroom, beautiful open plan living dining and bedroom with a gas wood fire, well equipped kitchen and very secluded. So nice sitting by the fire watching the rain in the forest!

Only thing is there is minimal phone reception and the WiFi doesn't reach the chalet we stayed in (Marri), so I would work out your meals before hand. We also took our 6 month old and had difficulties with his naps due to the open plan chalet, but Jeanette kindly offered us an extension cord and powerboard so we could put his portacot in the large cupboard instead of the lounge

We were absolutely amazed at the perfection of this place. We had high expectations beforehand but as soon as we drove into the place we were blown away. Better still was when we opened the chalet door and our jaws hit the ground with amazement. Beautiful warm, welcoming layout and a verandah that looked out directly to the lake. Being woken up by the birds and kangaroos eating was the icing in the cake. Can't wait to go back there and relax by the fireplace again. The owners truly take very good care of this place and the guests.

Amazing place. DON'T KILL THE MOUSE/RAT! .......coz it's a native marsupial called an Antichinus or Mardo. We enjoyed watching it jumping around everywhere!

Stayed four nights in one of the two chalets at end of Feb 2022. Our first impression walking in the chalet was "Wow". High ceilings, jarrah floors, spotlessly clean, huge bathroom and spa, and surrounded by tall trees.

With windows on all sides we certainly felt wrapped snuggly in the iconic Australian bush.

Though we did do a little touring around the area we spent a lot of time sitting on the verandah reading and enjoying the entertainment provided by the many varieties of birds, everything from pipping wrens to raucous black cockatoos, and hawks circling high above.

With many fire break trails through the 100 acres of natural bush, we enjoyed exploring with glimpses of the resident roos.

The peacefulness, seclusion and bushland all around was exactly what we needed to recharge from this currently crazy times.

We hope we'll be able to go back there again.

July 2022 returned to stay in the Jarrah Chalet. Seems exactly the same as the one we stayed in last time, other than the view slightly different. Though it was winter so the nights and days were cold and sometimes wet and windy, the chalet was always snug.

Your cottage was absolutely perfect. Again, exactly as described and pictured, beautiful forrest. Spectacular! We will be comming back
