Oh what a place! Beautiful from the minute you enter the driveway and a very warm welcome from the host! Unfortunately we only had a 2 night stay but could have stayed for weeks...very peaceful surroundings, including birdsong and very shy roos. The chalet was stunning-very clean, spacious, comfortable and warm and we loved sitting out on the deck watching the birds. There was nothing you could want that the chalet didn't have, including a massive spa bath! Even though you're out in the middle of nowhere, the drive into Pemberton or Lakeside restaurant (a nice place for breakfast and walk in the forest) is not long. We would highly recommend a stay here!

The restaurant's view of the lake is beautiful. The food was amazing and value for money with the kids meals is great. Our server was incredible, fast and great service.

The most beautiful, natural, primal places I've ever had the pleasure of seeing well worth the trip to experience and cluster of nature that has existed for a thousand years.

Nice location, junior service staff is fine. Cost per head for a party of 4 came to $40 with 1 drink and a kid's meal. Pork belly has good crackle, flavour complemented well by carrot and caramelized pear. Scotch fillet was perfectly cooked. Kid's meal was fine. Duck confit was dry and lentils was tasteless so this dish was a fail to put it simply. Overall, it's overpriced for what we ordered and I will not be coming back.

Beautiful view with great atmosphere. So classy yet family friendly. On our way back to Perth we found this place just thinking of filling our tummy.

When we drove in, we saw this beautiful grass on the left with kangaroos and emus wandering around. Then these whole rows of beautiful chalets facing the lake. Simply amazing to find such fabulous resort in a place far from the city.

And my first thought was this place is going to cost us arms and legs but surprise it’s standard price we get from any tavern in Perth! They even have face painting during school holiday!

Good about the restaurant:

1. Beautiful and relaxing ambience

2. Spacious and can easily cater for big group (there were 15 of us and we were seated in one long table).

3. Fantastic customer service by the lady who served us

4. Price is reasonable (e.g fish and chips $28, kids meal is $12 including drinks and icecream, $34 for steak)

Not so good about the restaurant:

1. Very limited options for lunch menu

2. Taste of food is average. Kids’ Spaghetti Bolognese is very dry, the steak is quite “rubbery”.

Might be checking on their breakfast and dinner if they’re better. ;)

Food is great, ambiance is amazing and the best part, hospitality of staff probably the best I have experienced. Shoutout to Chris(restaurant attendant) for making this experience great.

We had our anniversary dinner here and it was perfect.

The atmosphere was casual but refined, the service was friendly and efficient.

My wife had the ocean trout which was cooked to perfection, I had probably the nicest steak I have ever had, and the desserts were beautiful.

I rarely give reviews but this was worth recommending.

Viewed in flood, this is a great waterfall, best viewed from the small suspension bridge just below.
